Who we are

This website is operated by Jackson Oil & Gas, Office 2401, Level 24, Al Sila Tower, Abu Dhabi Global Market Square, Al Maryah Island, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. We are responsible for the personal data described in this policy.

What we collect

• Enquiries. When you use our contact form we receive your name, company email, company name, the product you select and the details you write.
• Calls and messages. If you call us or message us on WhatsApp, we receive your number and what you send.
• Technical data. Like every website, our hosting server records your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time. These logs are used for security and to keep the site running.

We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and we do not build profiles of visitors.

Why we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and prepare an offer.
• To carry out counterparty checks, including know-your-customer and sanctions screening, before any transaction.
• To perform and document a contract if we trade with you.
• To protect the website against misuse and attacks.
• To meet our legal and regulatory obligations.

Legal basis

We process personal data where it is needed to take steps before entering a contract, to perform a contract, for our legitimate business interests (such as answering enquiries and securing our website), to comply with the law, or with your consent. We handle personal data in line with applicable data protection laws, including UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 and, where applicable, the ADGM Data Protection Regulations 2021.

Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent personal data. We share it only where needed with:

• our website hosting and email providers, who process it on our behalf;
• banks, inspection companies, shipping agents and insurers, only once a transaction proceeds;
• authorities, where the law requires it.

Third-party services

• Google Fonts. Our typefaces are loaded from Google, which receives your IP address so it can deliver the font files. Google Fonts does not set cookies.
• WhatsApp. If you tap our WhatsApp link you leave this website, and WhatsApp (Meta) handles your data under its own privacy policy.

International transfers

Our offices are in the UAE and the United States and we trade internationally, so your data may be processed outside your country. Where this happens we take reasonable steps to keep it protected.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to a transaction are kept for up to 24 months. Transaction and due-diligence records are kept for as long as the law requires. Server logs are kept for a limited period set by our hosting provider.

Security

The website runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) with security headers and spam protection on the contact form. Access to enquiries is limited to our trading desk.

Your rights

You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, object to or restrict how we use it, or withdraw consent. Visitors in the European Union may also complain to their local data protection authority. California residents may request the information we hold about them; we do not sell or share personal information for advertising.
